About This Webinar

Your organization is responsible for ensuring that it’s protected, secure and has all bases covered. When you choose to do business with any service provider, you could be opening your organization up to very real risks in many different areas, including operational risk, reputation risk, credit risk, compliance risk, strategic risk and many others.

In order to mitigate and lower the level of risk a vendor poses, you should implement strong vendor risk management practices including an oversight and ongoing monitoring program. Assessing the vendor’s quality of service, risk management practices, financial condition and applicable controls are some examples of what those programs should include.

In this webinar, you will gain a thorough background on sound vendor risk management with practical tips and ideas you can use to start or improve your own program.

You will learn:

  • Oversight requirements and best practices
  • The framework of a strong vendor risk management program
  • How to determine the risk levels of vendors
  • Contract management tips
  • What areas of your vendors you need to analyze
  • Common mistakes to avoid
