The next decade will likely see an explosion in technological advancement, as use of Artificial
Intelligence becomes more widespread. What will be the impacts of these new technologies on the
future of risk management? New technology represents an opportunity to improve efficiency and
quality in the Risk division, for example through more efficient processes, better detection capabilities,
better data, and better analytics. It also represents a challenge, given the need to manage the risks,
threats and unintended consequences.
In this meeting, our speakers will discuss the key challenges of this transition. Taking the recent DNB
report on AI as a starting point - https://bit.ly/2ozzvYK - we will consider the governance and risk management challenges a
firm must address, as well as some of the practical challenges and opportunities.
