  Steve LindoPrincipal, SRL Advisory Services
Steve Lindo is a financial risk manager with over 30 years’ experience managing risks in ALM, funding, banking, and trading portfolios. His current role is Lecturer and Course Designer at Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies, teaching Financial Risk Management to graduate students in Columbia’s MS in Enterprise Risk Management program.  He is also Principal of SRL Advisory Services, an independent consulting firm specializing in risk governance, education and strategy, financial technology innovation, risk data management, regulatory expertise, information risk management, and financial litigation support.

Steve's previous positions include Director of Treasury Management and Mortgage Risk at Fifth Third Bancorp and Vice President of Risk Capital Management at GMAC Financial Services LLC (now Ally Financial).  In 2010, Steve completed a two-year engagement as Executive Director of PRMIA.  Before that, he held a number of risk management roles in Cargill’s proprietary financial trading group, which was subsequently de-consolidated into two separate hedge funds, Black River Investments and Carval Investors. He spent his early career as an international banking and credit officer with Lloyds Bank and First National Bank of Chicago (now part of JPMorgan Chase) in the UK, Spain and Brazil.


Steve is a regular presenter at conferences, webinar host, and author of risk management articles and case studies. He has a BA and MA from Oxford University and speaks fluent French, German, Spanish and Portuguese.

 
       
 

Patricia Bood, VP Legal Affairs & General Counsel of BCI, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada 
Patricia Bood is Senior Vice President Legal Affairs & General Counsel for British Columbia Investment Management Corporation.  With over $150 billion of managed assets, BCI is a leading provider of investment management services for British Columbia’s public sector and one of the largest asset managers in Canada.  Patricia leads the Legal Affairs department, which includes the legal, corporate secretary, records management, procurement, compliance and enterprise risk functions of BCI.  Previously she was Senior Vice President, Legal Services and General Counsel for a publicly listed renewable power company with global operations.

 
       
    Marc Kneppers, Chief Security Architect, Telus Communications 

Security was not the original plan. Marc started in Astrophysics, getting degrees from the University of Calgary and Western Ontario before finally quitting with his MSc to scrounge for money in the private sector. Luckily, the Internet was waiting. Starting as a UNIX system administrator and working his way through Internet services, dot coms and the core networking teams, Marc ended up as the Security prime for TELUS' core networks. With a nod to his 20 years of experience in IT/networking security Marc was appointed a TELUS Fellow and is now the Chief Security Architect for TELUS.

As Chief Security Architect, Marc has responsibilities for security oversight and strategy across all of TELUS' technologies and portfolios. He represents TELUS on Canadian national infrastructure forums and industry boards with membership in international security forums and vendor advisory boards. Outside of work, he lives in Calgary with his wife and 2 children, skis, bikes and plays in a band.

Ken Radigan, CEO, PRMIA
Ken Radigan is currently the CEO of the Professional Risk Managers’ International Association (PRMIA).  Ken also teaches Insurance Risk Management at Columbia University’s Master of Professional Studies in Insurance Management.  

Ken served as the Chief  Risk Officer (CRO) for US and Bermuda platforms of Aspen.  Prior to this, Ken was the CRO for the Casualty and Global Risk Solutions Divisions of AIG.  Ken had worked at AIG for over 25 years and during this time he had the following responsibilities: 
CRO Casualty and Global Risk Solutions
Director of corporate catastrophe modeling
Product line manager for the Environmental Protection Programs
Product line manager for the Cleanup Cost Cap programs
Actuarial analyst for the corporate actuarial department. 

Ken was the inventor of two US Patents on Nuclear Decommissioning Insurance.  

Ken has a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Mathematics from the University of Dayton and has the following professional designations:

Chatered Property Casualty Underwriter, CPCU
Associate in Risk Management, ARM
Associate in Surplus Lines Insurance, ASLI
FINRA Series Certifications: 6,63,66, and 7
