About This Webinar

The code of conduct is defined as a guideline for required behavior, compliance (i.e., prohibited behavior) and accountability for both the individual and the corporation.  It is considered as an instrument for enhancing corporate social responsibility and/or complying with ESG factors. The last two aspects are possibly the reason why the code of conduct is usually written in relation to guidelines of corporate social responsibility and ESG factors, rather than authentic corporate idiosyncrasy and values.

In consequence, when corporate stakeholders, such as risk, law, or HR professionals aim to provide awareness of the code of conduct, there is an important gap related to the corporation’s authentic behavioral traits and values, and stakeholder critical awareness, leading to higher exposure of reputational risk for the individual and the corporation but also, ironically, not complying with corporate social responsibility/ESG factors.

In this webinar, we will provide awareness of the liability associated with reputation: what is reputational risk, how reputational risk is linked to the code of conduct, how to influence the development of a code of conduct that truly reflects the corporate values and idiosyncrasies but also complies with corporate social responsibility/ESG factors, and how to provide awareness of the code of conduct that sticks to minimize reputational risk.
