About This Webinar

Risk Appetite, even though standard in definition, is unique to each organization. This is because while defining a risk appetite, a risk manager should consider the attributes specific to the concerned organization. Nonetheless, the base concepts and broad approaches towards mapping a Risk Appetite are the same.

A company who treats Risk Appetite as a mere tick in the box is lagging behind in managing and understanding their risk exposure and making informed risk-based decisions. Most importantly, it is falling short in providing transparency for its investors, stakeholders, regulators, and credit rating agencies.

This webinar aims to present the concept of Risk Appetite and persuade the audience to understand the benefit of thoroughly articulating and setting risk appetite thresholds. It also aims to provide the audience with the key skills on how a risk appetite statement should be defined, presented, read and reviewed.
