About This Webinar

Worldwide, two billion people remain unbanked, the majority of whom reside in resource-constrained environments. While banks and financial institutions have limited reach due to high overhead costs of physical expansion, the global increase in mobile penetration has created opportunities to serve the unbanked using Digital Financial Services (DFS). However, there are many factors that affect the understanding, adoption, and use of DFS including learnability of the systems. DFS products are offered by banks, non-bank third-party providers, and mobile network operators (MNOs), together with service providers (SPs).

This session will equip participants with an understanding of technological capabilities present to DFS and be able to utilize that knowledge in product designs and implementation plans that are more efficient and effective in meeting stakeholder needs.

Executives need to track new developments in the financial technologies, but finding the time is always challenging. This short sessions’ agenda is packed with the most important and relevant topics to bring you up-to-date and information about new innovative solutions and cutting-edge technologies.

Remember, understanding of technology implementation is important before implementing or bringing change in the organization.

Key Takeaways:
  • Get the newest trends in global digital finance and financial inclusion
  • Understand the use of technology in financial services
  • Get to know technology components in financial services
  • Critical factors to consider when selecting technology and the vendor in DFS
