Aon insurance has estimated a $171 Billion gap between insurable P&C climate risk events versus existing coverages, and according to a recent McKinsey study up to 15% of bank balance sheets are particularly at risk due to climate risk factors. Participants will gain insights on both risk mitigation and revenue enhancement opportunities, with applications of risk data and analytics that are easily accessible on the web.
In this presentation, Perry will also cite recent developments in the context of machine learning and AI resources for better understanding climate risk implications, inclusive of free online toolsets. The domain of geospatial analytics will also be explored with respect to how unique insights from these models can be applied. Whether you are a risk officer seeking new and creative ways to better reflect climate risk across your firm’s business domains, or a practitioner simply wanting to better understand the growing challenges and business solutions associated with climate risk, this webinar is for you.
