Jamilu Adamu is a leading expert in Credit Risk Management. In July 2015, Jamilu invented “Jameel’s Criterion,” “Jameel’s Contractional-Expansional Stress Methods,” “Assets and Derivatives Non-Normal Brownian Motion Models” and “Jameel’s Substitutions” to link the models with IFRS 9. In 2017, his work was cited as “Logical Optimized model of Trustworthy Mathematical and Trendy Advanced Stressed Crises Compound of Pricing Models” by Dr. Jayashri Shankar Suravase at the 3rd International Conference on Emerging Technologies in Engineering, Biomedical, Management and Science. In 2018, he was appointed as the only Nigerian/African Associate Editor and a reviewer of Risk.net.

Jamilu is currently Editor of the Journal of Economics and Management Sciences, and the Associate Editor of the Risk and Financial Management Journal. He is currently a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants, a Fellow of the Institute of Management Specialists, UK, and a Fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration, Nigeria.
