Advanced Operational Risk Management - New Virtual Training Course

PRMIA introduces Advanced Operational Risk Management Virtual Training Series, a deep-dive program that will take participant skills and understanding of operational risk to the next level. Led by Dr. Ariane Chapelle, this course is a must-have for all the operational risk practitioners wishing to benchmark their practice and a fantastic opportunity for newcomers to gain a comprehensive overview of what modern operational risk managers need to know.

Eight weekly lessons are divided into 30 minute lectures and supporting activities. Weekly classes open each Tuesday, April 23-June 11, 2019. This course is divided into eight ORM categories, including framework and taxonomy, risk appetite, RCSAs, scenario analysis, KRIs, Projects, IT assessment and cyber risk, and culture and conduct. Each lesson will go in depth and provide examples of each of these different types of operational risk. Participant comprehension of the concepts, practices and uses described in each lesson will be tested with questions and assessments.

Participants may join us for the full series or customize their schedule and register only for the sessions of their choice.

How It Works
Our Virtual Courses are launched weekly using pre-recorded lectures in right-sized segments. Participants may access lessons any time during the course to view the lecture and participate in learning activities, discussion forums, recommended readings, or submit questions to our instructor. Access to the instructor will conclude one week following the last class, but the course can be accessed for one full year to further support learning.
