New Co-RD Announcement

PRMIA announces today appointment of Liza Abad as the new Co-Regional Director of the Houston  Chapter. Liza is an Enterprise Risk Manager at Hess Corp. with portfolio responsibilities overseeing the onshore, Asia Pacific and Australia regions. Liza has been actively involved in furthering the risk management best practices and educational needs of energy professionals. At PRMIA, she has served various global roles (Global Speaker Coordination Leader, SME and advisory roles) and chapter level roles (Houston and New York Steering Committees).

Liza will be replacing Sharm Baker as Co-Regional Director of the Houston Chapter.  As chapter leader she, Co-Regional Director John Hale and the Steering Committee plan to build up the local volunteer committee and to bring in new speakers, attractive venues and potential new members that can help build a base for events in 2016/2017. The Houston chapter will also aim to have at least one event a quarter through partnerships with other local organizations and outreach with universities.

PRMIA would like to take this opportunity to thank Sharm Baker for her contributions to the Houston chapter and PRMIA.  PRMIA is extremely grateful that Sharm continues her support for PRMIA Houston as a Steering Committee Member.
