PRMIA London Presents Cyber Risk

Summary: A safe and secure banking system is very important for a society to prosper. As banks become more and more digital  they also become vulnerable to various forms of cyber risks. As a result, managing cyber risk is becoming increasingly important in banks and other financial institutions. In this event we look at how these institutions manage their cyber risks now and how it will evolve in the future. Discussion topics:

  • Increasing sophistication of external threats and internal malicious intent
  • Increasing regulatory burden
  • Strategic change programme delivery for cyber assurance
  • The expanding attack surface
  • Increased need for internal cyber risk and senior manager reporting
  • Cyber risk as a business problem, not just technology problem: eg GDPR
  • Incident detection, response and remediation
