PRMTM Exam Fees and Enrollment
Fees
To take the PRM exams you must enroll, apply, and pay the program fee. After application approval, you will receive an authorization to test email to schedule exams with our testing center, Pearson VUE. The PRM exam consists of 4 exams unless you are approved for an exemption. The digital PRM Handbook is included in the program fee.

Program fees are not refundable and you must complete the program within 3 years of enrolling or 2 years from the date of your first successful exam.
Locations
The PRM exam is operated by Pearson VUE with testing centers in more than 170 countries, in secure and monitored testing facilities in approximately 6,000 locations. Find a testing center near you.
ALERT: Beginning 18 Feb 2018, you will no longer need to use a voucher number to schedule your exams. PRMIA will authorize you to schedule and take your exam. If you experience difficulty scheduling your exam, please contact us here.

Candidates have two years to pass all required exams of the PRM designation. The two-year period commences from the date of the first successful PRM examination. Candidates may take exams over more than a two-year period, but any exams passed more than two years in the past will need to be retaken.
Candidates may only sit for the same exam once every 60 days.

Enrollment
- Become a PRMIA Member.
- Enroll and submit application. You can follow progress on that page and your profile.
- After approval, pay the program fee. Within 3 business days, you will receive an email with instructions to create an account and schedule exams with Pearson VUE.
- IMPORTANT: Use your email address when creating your Pearson Vue account (enter in "client question"), and do not create multiple accounts at Pearson VUE.
- Pearson VUE sends confirmation of scheduled exam(s).
- On your scheduled testing date, arrive at the testing center at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. You must bring two (2) forms of identification with you. The first must be a current government-issued ID with your photograph and signature. A digital signature using a signature pad and a digital photograph will be taken during the admissions process at the testing center. Candidates must sign-in and sign-out of the testing center.

Exam Cancellations/Changes
In recognition of the busy and changing schedules of risk managers, you may change your exam appointment without charge through the Pearson VUE system. Please note that all change requests must be made at least one business day before the testing date or the entire exam fee will be forfeited.
Because of the flexibility in rescheduling, program fees are non-refundable.
Testing Facility Policies
Arrive On Time
It is very important that you leave enough time to arrive at the testing center early. Candidates that arrive late to the test center may not be permitted to test. You will be charged a retest fee to retake if you are not admitted for any reason. As these centers offer exams for other organizations as well, not everyone in the room will be taking the same exam, so no assumptions should be made about when other candidates enter or leave the testing center.
Exam Administration
Each testing center has an administrator who can assist candidates with any questions that they may have. In the event of any incident (computer failure, inadequate supplies, excessive noise, or any other circumstance) which the candidate believes is not compatible with good examination conditions, this must be brought to the attention of the examination proctor immediately upon the incident being noticed – without continuing the exam. Failure to inform the proctor in this manner will invalidate any subsequent candidate incident reporting which cannot be substantiated by the test center.
Exam Security
The PRM exam is conducted under secure conditions. Any attempt by candidates to copy questions, by any means including organized memorizing, and to distribute these questions to other individuals, will be treated as unethical behavior and may result in penalties against the candidate which could include forfeit of any PRMIA certifications, fees, and possible expulsion from PRMIA. Incitement to copy, and usage of copied questions may also result in the same penalties.
