PRM Exam 1: The Foundations for Financial Risk Management Certificate
Upon successful completion of the PRM Exam 1, students will have evidence to indicate their knowledge of Financial Risk Management fundamentals.
PRM Exam 2: Risk Management Practices Certificate
Upon successful completion of the PRM Exam 2, students will have evidence to indicate their knowledge of specific risk areas, and their ability to apply the lessons learned from the PRMIA Case Studies and Standards.
Students who pass either of these exams are awarded a digital certificate that can be displayed in their resume and social media profiles.

PRM Exam Exemptions
PRMIA Members who are also graduates of University Programs that are part of the PRMIA Risk Accreditation Program are eligible for exemptions for the Professional Risk Manager Designation (PRM™) Exams. It may be possible to combine one of these exemptions with this program to achieve the PRM™. For example, if a student has an exemption for the PRM Exam 1, then upon successful completion of the PRM Exam 2, they can go onto apply for full PRM™ status.

Career Path - What comes next?
Individuals with both the Foundations for Financial Risk Management and the Risk Management Practices certificate can apply to the PRM Designation program when they are eligible, meet any remaining PRM requirements necessary, and become a PRM Designation Holder*. As above, this can be combined with the PRMIA Risk Accreditation Program.
