Speakers

Harry Chopra, Chief Client Officer, AxiomSL
Harry Chopra is the Chief Client Officer of AxiomSL. He joined the company in 2017 and is based in New York City. Bringing more than 30 years of experience in global sales and financial services, Harry is responsible for overseeing AxiomSL’s global business development efforts, implement go-to-market strategies and build worldwide client-driven growth.
Prior to joining AxiomSL, Harry was the Chief Commercial Officer for Credit Benchmark, where he developed the concept of consensus credit estimates by working with the Chief Risk Officer and Chief Credit Officer community across national, regional and global banks.  Before that, Harry led the global sales and client services function for S&P Capital IQ.  Besides these roles, he also served as the head of International Retail and head of Institutional Marketing at Citigroup Asset Management.
Harry received his Bachelor of Art in Mathematics, with a minor in Economics, from the University of Delhi, and he holds an MBA in Marketing and Information Systems from The University of Michigan.

Michael Ivie
, PRMIA Steering Committee             
Michael serves on PRMIA’s New York Steering Committee and the Global Finance Committee for the Board of Directors. He is also the co-editor of riskarticles.com.
Michael has over a decade of experience in Finance, Risk and Technology in both public and private sectors. His diverse background as a Trader, Developer, Analyst, Enterprise Risk Manager, and Management Consultant (among other hats) for many of the world’s leading financial institutions has helped him develop a unique perspective on how these organizations function and how to navigate a changing business, technical, and regulatory landscape.
Michael received a Master of Science in Finance and an MBA in Risk Management and Insurance from Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business. He earned a Professional Risk Manager certification from PRMIA, Basel Compliance Professional designation from BCPA, and Project Management Professional credential from PMI.

Brett Caracciolo, Head of Data Governance, Sterling National Bank
Brett Caracciolo is a Subject Matter Expert in defining and implementing data management programs, consisting of end-to-end data strategies, governance policies and frameworks, data architecture, reporting and analytics.  With deep technology roots, Brett successfully implemented several large data governance programs with common themes of introducing leading data management practices while satisfying regulatory and compliance criticism.   Brett leads the Data Management Office as the SVP and Director of Data Governance for Sterling National Bank and is the acting Chief Data Officer. Sterling is recognized as a top regional bank committed to strong growth and talented, high-achieving individuals. Currently, Brett is implementing phase II capabilities of the Data Governance Program, involving people, process, and technology.  Brett has gained strong executive support and obtained measured success in the 5 strategic program components (Governance Policy, Data Quality, Data Stewardship, Metadata Repository, and Data Aggregation/Reporting & Analytics) supported through roles, responsibilities, and procedures. Previously, Brett spearheaded a similar data governance program at the Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi.  In addition, he was instrumental in integrating the program with Union Bank after the merger in July of 2014.  Brett led the rationalization of the data governance components, assimilating the “best of the best”, to create an industry leading data program, conforming to BCBS 239 principles.  
Brett started his career at Merrill Lynch where he graduated from their selected technology/management training program, and enjoyed deep technology roots for two decades across Financial and Banking applications.  
 
Michael Atkin, Strategic Advisor,  EDM Council, Inc. 
Mike is a strategic advisor to the Enterprise Data Management Council - a business forum focused on data content management, best practices, ontology and standards in the financial industry.  He previously held the position of the Managing Director of the EDM Council from its formation until 2017.  Mike is recognized as an expert in content management, reference data strategy, governance, quality and content engineering and has been providing strategic advice to financial industry participants on the requirements associated with managing data as a business asset since 1985.  He served as a member of the SEC Market Data Advisory Committee, the CFTC Technical Advisory Committee, various ISO Working Groups and the Financial Stability Board’s Advisory Group for LEI.  He was a two-term Chair of the Data and Technology Subcommittee for the US Treasury’s Financial Research Advisory Committee.  For the past three years, Mike has been on the faculty of Columbia University teaching master’s degree candidates about the principles, practices and operational realities of data management.   

 Meghan Maze, CFO, Natixis CIB Americas
 Ms. Maze is Chief Financial Officer for the Americas Platform. She joined Natixis in 2016 as Deputy CFO. She has held several senior financial positions over 10 years with Rabobank (North America), including Controller of the Wholesale Bank and Chief Accounting Officer of their California Retail Bank. Most recently Ms. Maze was North American Director of Finance Change & Control and Head of the Enhanced Prudential Standards Finance, Risk & Regulatory Reporting work streams, with a focus on data quality, finance strategy, accounting standards, and financial reporting automation. Prior to Rabobank, she was the Controller at a California financial institution that was acquired by Rabobank. 

Ms. Maze is a CPA, with a graduate degree in Banking from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado, a certificate from a graduate program in Accounting from Ellis NYIT (New York Institute of Technology), and a BS in Applied Economics from the University of San Francisco.
