The incorporation of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors into financial models and investment decision-making has become increasingly critical as new datasets become available and ESG risks materialize. Recent case studies such as Wells Fargo and Equifax highlight the importance of using ESG data as an additional dataset to identify emerging areas of risks that are not well-captured in current risk models. In this seminar, hear from a portfolio manager, buy-side and sell-side ESG analysts, and a governance specialist about how they identify, measure, and analyze ESG risks affecting Financial Sector companies, by exploring topics such as cyber security, data protection, talent management, and diversity.
