The pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus made significant impact across the fixed income markets in March. While there is some subsequent recovery in asset prices, the aftershocks will be felt for a long time in the economy and markets. In some ways, the economic impact of the pandemic may be more severe than what was experienced during the 2008-2009 financial crisis.
This virtual event is focused on the impact of the pandemic on the structured finance sector. After a quick review of the basics of ABS, RMBS, CMBS and CLOs and the related structures, we will discuss the possible impact of COVID-19 crisis on each of the asset classes, and the actions taken thus far by the government and industry to mitigate the impact.
Not able to participate in the live event? The event will be recorded and a copy made available to registrants, along with Sustaining, Corporate, RIM, and Contributing Members.
