About This Webinar

Research has found that 85% of people are afraid of conflict. In an increasingly diverse workplace, there is a greater potential for conflict and a greater need for understanding and accommodating different needs.  When you dare to deal with conflict in an inclusive and straightforward way, you enable yourself and others to do their best thinking.

Straightforwardness is one of the 10 x Emotional Intelligence competencies linked to managing conflict and getting others to buy-in to your messages. Being straightforward starts with understanding and responding to your own needs and those of others, whilst maintaining a calm, yet authoritative presence to create a win-win outcome.

You will gain insights into the EQ science and what triggers conflict, learn the distinction between Agreements vs Expectations, and practice the Assertiveness Formula.
