About the Event
The last few years have seen unprecedented changes, both global and local, in all fields of human activity. While there have been some exacerbation of previous trends like Climate Change, Technological Changes and Geopolitical Conflicts, there has also been some idiosyncratic events like the pandemic and the Russia - Ukraine conflict, which have added a new dynamic to the direction and momentum of these changes. 2022 saw a confluence of a large number of these trends, raising concerns in some quarters about whether this amounted to a “Perfect Storm”. These changes are having a fundamental impact on the risks posed to the global economy in general and the financial sector in particular. At the same time they are also having a fundamental impact on the evolution of the field of risk management – given the competing asks from regulators, governments, shareholders and society at large. In order to help understand these trends better and the manner in which they impact the Indian Financial Sector, PRMIA Mumbai has organized a webinar that brings together thought leaders from across the risk management spectrum to discuss global and local best practices. The audience will include senior executives and industry leaders from regulatory bodies, leading banks, insurance companies, asset management companies, NBFCs, risk professionals, academics and students.
