Mark P Taylor builds and delivers workshops, formal courses, briefings and 1:1 coaching sessions to board members and senior management in different jurisdictions across the globe. During his career, Mark led and supported governance and compliance teams across different jurisdictions. He now enjoys sharing his insights and experiences across a range of subjects with focus on risk
management.
Mark held senior level positions with HSBC, Lloyd's Bank and Standard Bank Offshore Group. Mark's areas of special matter expertise include the following: Corporate Governance, Data Privacy, Financial Crime Prevention, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Conflicts of Interest, Conduct, Cross Border disciplines, Equality, diversity and inclusion, Training Competency and Cyber risk management. In addition, Mark has chaired Compliance risk committees within international public companies, held senior Company Secretary positions within public companies and acted as a Non Executive Director for non-for-profit entities.

John Deverell is founder and CEO of Deverell Associates. He commanded an SAS squadron. As a senior officer, he was Director, Defense Diplomacy in Whitehall. The Foreign Office employs him periodically as a Middle East expert. HM The Queen awarded him the CBE. In commercial life, John was a member of the Executve Leadership Team of Invensys plc. He subsequently founded Deverell Associates, advising on risk, crisis, leadership, and governance.
John has a Cambridge MPhil in International Relations and a diploma in Advanced Negotiation and Mediation Skills from Kent University. He has spoken frequently on TV and radio, advising on strategy, crisis resolution, and security.
